Become a frontline Genomics collector

Mosquito-borne diseases still threaten millions across sub-Saharan Africa, and in many regions, there’s little to no data on the mosquitoes spreading them. KIBASEQ is changing that, with your help.

What You’ll Do

As a Frontline Collector, you’ll receive a field kit with everything you need, including mosquito traps, sample vials, preservation solution, data sheets, and protective gear.

Get Your Field Kit

We’ll send you a full kit with traps, vials, and protective gear, everything you need to get started.

 Set Traps Locally

Place mosquito traps 2–3 nights per week in your area. We’ll guide you through the process.

 Record Key Info

Log simple data like location, date, and surroundings, using pen and paper or a mobile form.

Preserve & Ship Samples

Use DNA-safe solution to preserve specimens, then send them to our lab in Prague for sequencing.

Stay Connected

Our support team is here for questions, check-ins, and updates, every step of the way.

Be part of the solution

Join a growing movement of local scientists, health workers, and changemakers working to stop mosquito-borne disease at the source.

The Data You Help Collect Could Change

Everything.

The Data You Help Collect Could Change Everything.

The Data You Help Collect Could Change

Everything.

Every mosquito you collect contains crucial genomic clues. With your help, we can detect the early spread of dangerous viruses and parasites, before outbreaks happen.

This data empowers health organisations and governments to act faster, smarter, and earlier. You won’t just be collecting insects. You’ll be collecting the signals that may save lives.
